Quartus Chamber Players opens its fourth season with Gone with the Woodwinds. Joined by the winner of Concert Artists Guild Competition, WindSync, Quartus invites the audience to take a journey with us to a concert of popular string-wind chamber music. The concert will open with the bright Flute Quartet in D Major by Mozart, followed by Beethoven’s masterful Septet, and end with Spohr’s brilliant Nonet. Houston Grand Opera bassist Erik Gronfor joins Quartus and WindSync to round out this delightful afternoon concert.
