​Caroline Slack, violin

Caroline Slack, violinist from Vashon Island, Washington, received her Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and her Masters degree at the University of Texas at Austin studying with Brian Lewis. Caroline is a member of the Austin Symphony, Des Moines Metro Opera, and the Britt Festival Orchestra. She also performs regularly with the Kansas City Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, Victoria Bach Festival and Theatre Under the Stars. Caroline is one of the founding members of the Quartus Chamber Players, based in Houston, performing chamber music throughout Texas. She has also given solo performances in Austin, Seattle, Ohio, Colorado and Mons, Belgium. Besides the violin, Caroline enjoys hiking and camping in the Pacific Northwest, playing disc golf and making delicious homemade sushi.
